  1. Hello to all the friends of 7 Days to Die,

    I have been a huge fan of this game for several years now and I've noticed that there's a particular type of mod missing: one involving dangerous water. I am looking to create water that would prevent players from swimming across it, forcing them to use a boat instead. Do you think it would be possible to develop a mod that introduces a dangerous element in the water, such as sharks, hostile sea creatures, or any other kind of obstacle? Do you have any ideas or suggestions for such a mod?

    Hey! Today I have tested A21 and there is much to be done. Much material is missing and will not load for the zombie. Many meshes are also gone. I see that I also need to add

    for every zombie to appear there. I also noticed that the AITask are a bit different compared to A20. Many standard mesh ragdolls are gone and especially those I used to place materials on. The other ragdolls does not seem to work with replacematerial on. So either that means, I need to use a different way. Like using the UMA types or I have to make my own meshes, which I have no clue on how to make.

     

    Sorry for being away so long. And I am not sure I will update the mod to A21. It seems like a big job haha. If I knew an easy way to fix it, but it does not seem like an easy fix sadly.

    I deleted everything, I redownloaded the mod and I gave the same links to the photos, 
    everything works perfectly now, if anyone has problems with this mod I give my help with pleasure.

    The code in between those lines won't be read.

     

    Also note that I got 404 errors on all image links provided in your post.

    Yes I removed the lines, I forgot to remove them in the code on the forum
    
    For the images indeed you had errors because I modified the link to see if there was not a problem
     of buffer memory on the site where the images are

  9. I still can't get it to work, yet I still have my a19 mod folder that was on my server,
     I just tested the same mod and nothing is showing, any idea or link to a another mod please?
    but only on the server side, nothing for the client.

    I just resumed the game and I had a folder containing all the useful information. 
    However, I unfortunately lost the few lines that need to be added to its .xml file for the zombies to work/appear after creating a prefab. 
    It was necessary to put these lines in the .xml file for it to work.

    After a few months of absence, I resume the game and I like to create quest buildings. However,
     after a few hours of research, there is an option that I can't seem to see in the zombie volume. 
    With the 'G' key, (photo 01) I can move the volume up, down, left and right without any problem. 
    However, I can no longer find the key or the trick to modify the width and the height of the volume of the zombies (photo 02). 
    The 'G' key shows three colored arrows to move the zombie volume, and there's another option with five arrows, I believe, 
    to adjust the volume size.
    
    
    At the same time, could you check photos 03 and 04 to see if I checked the right options?

    I think I misunderstood something.
    
    I changed the value from 1 to 5

    But the seller does not offer me a quest.
    I have reset the quests several times but the merchant still does not offer me anything.

    Is there a minimum level in the game for the merchant to offer the quest?
    
    When I leave <property name="DifficultyTier" value="1" /> on 1 it works, 
    but it only sometimes offers me 1 or 2 quests on several of my prefab buildings ( 4 )
    I have to reset each time the merchant's quests so that he offers me the other quests. 
    
    I don't mind that, but a player who comes to test my prefabs on the server when I'm not 
    there then it doesn't work.

    The merchant may only offer 1, 2 or 3 (Recovery)
    
    
    
    They are in tier 1 for the merchant to offer you the quest
    
    Attention, it is big and very difficult, to test in teams of 2 or 3 if you can do it :-)
    If you manage to finish the quest alone, I want a screen of your success ;-)
    
    The server is a 4 places (test server), if the server crashes it restarts automatically, but it takes a little time.
    In the evening I erase the backups so that you know how to retest the next day.
