  1. Hi, my server is dropping me while connecting to with this error message:

    NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

     

    I am using RAT Server Manager - Server is version A17.1

    I completely installed the game anew.

    I use the RH 5.01 2k version.

     

    Is this problem realted to EAC? Do I have to run the server without EAC?

     

    I found new problems with loading the items.xml, blocks.xml and biomes.xml.

    -> Installing all server files, again and new.

    -> Fully installed everything anew.

     

    Works now ...

  2. Update 2.09 .. Scrap wood for stick now ... same count 1 log = 3 sticks

    Some people should read patch notes then stop posting stupid things like this lol :p

  3. JaxTeller, there's a problem with your mod ... sticks are still not craftable ... something seems to got messed up since the last update?

     

    Is it right, that only 2 pages of ressources are visible in the crafting menu?

    It's recommended to only use SImple Mode if you are low on Disk Space. Advanced mode is the way to go.

     

    You should be able to scrap wood now for sticks.

     

    You can add the 7d2dmodlauncher.exe to Steam as a non-Steam game to get your overlay.

  5. Hi, I want to install the mod manually to have more control about my mods. Is there a way to directly download the mod without using 7DTDLauncher? Also 7DTDLauncher seems to make mistakes in the simple mode ... parts of the mod aren't shown correctly.

    Also I don't find the recipe for sticks ...

    But I want to use steam overlay, but can't, because the 7DTDLauncher doesn't provide the steam overlay in advanced mode ...

  6. upgrade you farmers box with snow or snowballs if that does not do the trick try a server restart.

    I had the same problem on my dedi, they were all gone and when i replaced them they would disappear if i set another one next to it, I restarted

    the dedi and the bug was gone.

     

    Hi, the farmer storage (ice-covered) from the creative menu seems to make the farmer start working, but we can't figure out, how to upgrade a normal one with snow or snowballs ...

  7. Hi, we've got a big problem on our server with the farmer station atm.

     

    When we open it at the first time, we get an error and after this we can't assign the farmer to a working task.

    Also seeds are not clickable.

  8. How is it handling ? I'm very VERY curious. Are you running on dedi?

     

    Yes, it's on a dedi server.

    Server runs smooth ... had 13 players online, yesterday and the server stayed stable.

    But it might lag some RAM usage problems, so I sheduled the server restarts more frequent 6 hourly.

    When we reach more than 20 people playing permanent on the server, I will double the restarts, again.

     

    You have to delete all player profiles due to quest problems with the random gen mod or you need to modify them, but I don't know how to do this. If you don't do this, your server will crash, when a player starts a quest.

     

    But we have another problem. Due to the bad netcode, we have problems with fast moving zeds. They're often unhitable, until they're directly in front of you. They're moving right-left to much.

    Anyhow those links should point you in the right direction even if the info is over a year old it's still relevant today for the most part. If you're still running into issue's pm me a link to the rwgmixer file you are editing so I can look at it. GL either way.

     

    The .xml changes were already made. I just neede to generate the map again. Works fine now ... map with 40km world border.

  10. LOL. Well I can't help if you don't ask.

     

    Just little nuggets of info:

    Any change to the rwgmixer.xml will require you to delete your old world and start fresh. Things changed with the rwgmixer when A16 came out.

     

    If that doesn't fix your issue then you made a mistake in how you made your edits. ANY mod can have their worlds play field increased. It's not the Starvation Teams mod adjustments to the xml files or additional scripting and code work they've done.

    I still have a question about the RWG ... I set the generation distance to 40000, burnt forest generation distance to 32000 - 36000, radiated zones to 36000 - 40000 in the rwgmixer.xml. Why does the RWG generate burnt/ radiated forests after ~7500m and radiated zones after ~9900m??? They're getting generated as circle around the map.

    So, where can I change this???

     

    Please help me.

  13. Hi, I have the problem with the generation distance: I've set the maximum generation distance for the map to 40000, for burnt forrest from 28000 until 30000, radiated area from 30000 until 40000 distance from center.

    Now, when I start moving towards the edge of the map, I notice, that the radiated burnt forrest will start at 8000.

    I didn't find anything about this in the rwgmixer.xml. So, why does this happen? Did I miss anything else?
