  1. Currently I'm on day 87 and have reached level 110.

     

    On our server it's day 213 and we are in the 90's... You are a leveling machine. :p

     

    I didn't have issues with heat in the rad zone. I did choose an area next to a nordic forest zone (dark green), and also I only wore boots, pants and gloves (91% rad resistance on the equip screen). I was not taking any damage, even though the blood splotches were appearing (and the armor skill increased on it's own). Of course, touching the radiated containers gives the rad sickness anyway, even if you are in hazmat.

    Can the rare guns be sold at traders please? Maybe at hidden stash 3, or even just the parts?

  3. Hi all,

     

    I'm an avid Ravenhearster (own a server with some friends), however we're unable to figure some things out. I tried searching the forums, but so far I had no luck.

     

    1). How to find special weapons (G3, Desert Eagle, Boomstick). We're being DROWNED in repeaters, Lucilles, Katanas.. but no G3, Desert Eagle and Boomstick. In the previous versions we could craft them using solder and gun parts, but it seems we can't anymore.

     

    2). How to obtain special decor ingredients (i.e. bear skin to make the bear rug, deer head to make the deer trophy).

     

    I really like the hardness level of Ravenhearst but we're becoming a bit frustrated with not being able to continue. It would've been nice if there were atleast some hints on how to obtain them.

     

    I read that "Rotters" in the burned land / wasteland would drop special weapons at night, but we've yet to find them.

     

    Can anyone help us out?

     

    I am at the same stage of frustration. I've been looking for the G3 and I haven't found it at level 87. I have found no less than 5 VSS Vintorez, 4 Boomsticks, 4 Galils, 3 Desert Eagles and 1 M25. I am now "grinding" desk safes, gun safes and military vehicles all across the map when they respawn, but the RNG does not cooperate to drop a G3. It is not fun gameplay.

     

    For me the boomsticks came from Desk Safes in banks, and the Desert Eagles from the hard mobs at night, like Rotters.

     

    If the parts could be crafted, that would be great, even if it would involve lots of solder and weapon parts. At least it gives an attainable objective. Or have fallen soldiers drop rare weapon parts.

     

    Another option would be allowing trioxin at level 80 or 90 instead of 120, because this sure is a long slog before I can loot the radiated zone. And the result will be that as soon as I get the G3, I will finish the quest and stop playing because I'm tired of it :)

  4. Stuck on boomstick for the shotgun class. I can't craft one...is this just an issue with having to find one? Best places to look if that's the case?

     

    I found 3 in desk safes, I regularly loot banks.

    My game froze. when I reset and loaded the mod again the minibike I was driving at the time is now gone. I'm kind of pissed lol

    Might just do cheat mode and get it back. shame I can't remember what I had dumped in the inventory... ugh sheesh

     

    Like vitamin said, it should be a ways back on the path you took. Also, if you put in a padlock, you should see a bike icon on your compass.

  5. Ah, you said the archer class was broken.

     

    What you really meant was that, in your opinion the archer class was overpowered because of the ability to one-shot zombies in the head.

  6. I love when people come here and assume something is broken without really experiencing the mod. You might always want to note that there are no Skills for increasing dismemberment for the crossbow, but there is for a bow {regular and iron}.

     

    Not sure what the beef is here, but we were discussing how the archer class suddenly gives the ability to single headshot pretty much anything. It looks like it gives a 100% dismember chance with bows and crossbows when you take the class. We experienced this on our MP server whenever someone would take the class, they would start headshotting left and right.

  7. So you are trying to tell us you can land consistent headshots with a bow/crossbow weapon as much as any other weapon in the game at zombies running at full speed at you.

     

    Well, actually I was referring to the archer class being good, and yes you are correct. But we were discussing one shot kills. The LSAT is by far superior to anything else I've yet used since it mows down everything fast (radiated wights or any of the nightmares), although I am stuck on the G3 for the rifle quest and haven't tried the M25 and VSS Vintorez (the Galil is no better than an AK-47).

     

    Unless the LSAT is also broken?

  8. 4) Head shots are still a thing, and almost required to not waste ammo. But all zombies have 3 times (on average) as much HP as vanilla. You will not be single shooting zombies until good quality weapons and enough points in corresponding skills.

     

    Two words: Archer class :D

     

    Heads blow up all the time with basically any bow or crossbow.

  9. Also, I have yet to find a way to make bullet tips, casings or gun powder, even being a rifle class. I'm assuming that's a recipe that randomly drops? I still make do with ammo boxes, but still...

  10. Oh the lift works. It's just that a minibike will fall through when you dismount in MP.

     

    To follow up, the 2x2 lift does not work at all for other players in MP. They will either not see it, or get an error when selecting a floor.

    here are some feedback from my playthrought of 3.1.3 7 day horde,

    I am on Days 48 and i'm using 90 min. days, i'm level 85 and I faced and killed many zombie on each horde night. I have pistol, shotgun, rifle and survival class currently. I died 4 time, 1 was from a rocket 15m explosion and 1 from radiation. I also haven't done any serious mining.

     

    - right now i'm pretty much waiting to be able to craft trioxin to go to radiation biome, but for that I need a whole lot more levels since it require science 10 for the perk, I feel like science 8 would be better for the perk, now I will have to spend my time power levelling.

     

    - I got radiation poisoining from looting something inside the rad biome while I was outside the rad biome, its probably normal but that an annoying death because how quicky it kill you, I did manage to craft a bedroll and place it before death and after using 6 first aid kit, but would it be possible to get like a 30 to 60 seconds warning debuff before it transform into radiation poisoning if your still in the rad biome or rad container.

     

    - I have the pistol class but can't continue the quest since I never seen the five-seven, which was after the magnum killing quest, i'm guessing there will eventually be a desert eagle killing quest, I have a desert eagle, but I never seen the five-seven.

     

    - I have the rifle class and need to find hk g3

     

    - I have the shotgun class and need to find boomstick shotgun.

     

    Are those weapon only in the rad biome or is it level locked in loot, i'm wondering because a lot of my looting was from gunsafe, safe, guncrate, millary zombie and I never any of those. I also killed many nightmares monster and nightime zombie.

     

    - We don't really need it but could it be possible to get a x5 or x10 recipe for the ammo supply box.

     

    Overall I felt like the progression wasn't too bad with the exception of needing science 10 which mean level 120 to get trioxin perk

     

    I probably had more to say but I forgot.

     

    I pretty much agree with your assessment about gating trioxin and the quests requiring the rare guns. I agree with a level 80 requirement (science 8?) for the trioxin.

     

    For the Five Seven, hunt Rotters at night, I have a whole slew of them. But still looking for the G3 at level 80, and that was my first class quest, still stuck on it... Boomsticks I have found in desk safes, loot banks and harvest them when they respawn.

  12. Another request: could solar banks be available as a recipe, perhaps gated behind a perk or lootable? The current situation is strange, since you can get solar cells at traders, but no solar banks until you are level 3 of Hidden Stash (as per the XML). Either have solar cells be at level 3 as well or allow us our solar if RNGesus smiles on us :)

    if the 2x2 elevator is not working its bugged and yes you have to have an unobstructed shaft all the way up and down. Also, afaik, the same player has to place both the base, placed first, and then additional floors for it to work without bugging out too.

     

    In previous versions (prior to 3.0 ) you could not use a LCB to pick up the 2x2, I think that was intentional but damn you have a really high price if you have to replace a floor. I hope that changes.

     

    Oh the lift works. It's just that a minibike will fall through when you dismount in MP.

  14. Is wrench on spawn list on traders?

     

    Yes, but they seem quite rare. They drop in sinks, so loot houses. Crowbars are not found at traders though.

  15. If this has already been mentioned, I didn't see it: the minibike will fall through the 2x2 lift, at least in MP. Hence, it is unusable in MP with a minibike.

     

    It works fine with the platform elevator, but the latter has strange positioning (2x2 to position, but it's 2.5x2 and is off center to one side).

     

    EDIT: Also for the platform elevator, logging out and then back in MP, it will show on the ground position, even if it is actually not. Activating it will make it snap to top and come down.

  16. A few questions about radiation:

     

    - Radiation (the debuff, not the radiated ground damage) seems permanent until death or when you take Trioxin, even if you are wearing full hazmat. By design?

     

    - How does one increase the Radiation skill/perk and would it help against the sickness? I couldn't see that it does anything in the progression.xml file.

     

    - Other than looting, to make Trioxin you need to be level 120 (for Science 10), isn't that a bit high?

     

    Also, why aren't there radiated zones inside wastelands, and just around the border of the map?

  18. New abundant POI (house) after 3.1.4

     

    So after 3.1.4 came out i decided to start a new game, and in every town i went i saw alot of these small houses, https://imgur.com/ogUQb8U never saw them before the update and i had 2 towns with combined over 150 houses.

    They didn't seem to have alot of loot inside them so i was getting a bit annoyed that there seem to be so many of them, just in this small town there are 18 https://imgur.com/PWwCvAT (small houses with green around them).

    But then i was thinking that these aren't vanilla houses, they can't be that bad, they should have something hidden and behind the first block (wood plate) i destroy i find this https://imgur.com/IsBXFms (they're not empty i just looted it lol).

     

    So if anyone was getting as frustrated as me for having alot of them, have fun going back to each one :)

     

    The Jungle Gym has a hidden stash among other things on the roof, just climb two ladders from the back, no sleepers. And this prefab spawns fairly often, just about every town. :)

  19. The Deco station questline for armors, Scrap Armor 1/2 gives +21 skill points. I assume that's a typo. :)

    IT CALLED A "BOLT RIFLE " and uses 32mm ammo

     

    Looks just like the Hunting Rifle

     

    32mm ammo is autocannon size :)

     

    If it's the Gewehr 98, it should probably be 7.92mm ammo.

  21. I suspect it's only the killing blow that needs to be with the Heisenberg Effect. So, if you knock down the zombie (pick an easy one, not a lumberjack or fat dude) Consume the blue ice, then whale on the downed zombie with your bare hands. With the 3x effect on downed zombies, isn't that enough?

     

    Yeah, that's what I described as doing, and the weapon switching delay, etc., makes the effect go away too soon. I could do the shenanigans that oragepoilu is describing, so it is probably doable, but honestly there are far easier quests that net 2 or 3 skill points. It's not worth the hassle.

     

    That's why I was asking if this was working as intended.

  22. Good evening. Quick question, Boomstick shotguns...do you have to loot one or are they craftable? I have never seen one in this mod over my 2 games.

     

    Yes, I looted one from a zombie, IIRC. Well, 2 because it duped while I was looting it :p

    Is the Heisenberg Effect intended to be so short? It lasts 8 seconds. The High As F quest requires you kill with your bare hands with the Heisenberg Effect. Even downing a zombie, taking the drug, and pummeling it to death takes too long: the effect goes away. I have the Medical class.

     

    Or am I missing something?
