So I am on my first alpha 20 playthrough from last month, mostly generic settings but feral sense on, random blood moons and no warnings. I am pretty much at endgame now, great equipment, tons of resources, solid bases, tons of dukes etc.
I've been doing tier 5 quests for the trader near a wasteland biome that has my worlds largest city and I gotta say, the wasteland is kinda trash with feral sense on.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge and it certainly is that but its endless wave of zombie spawns ruins the dungeon style layouts of the city POIs since zombies are always breaking doors and walls and exposing (in some cases) the main stash.
Now when I say endless I mean, its never ending, if I am in the city its constant waves of zombies which at endgame just amounts to "ways to get rid of ammo" there is no real difficulty in dispatching them (gets a bit dicer at night, but I'm kitted out) I enjoy feral sense in every other area of the game, its been a lot of fun for me but in the wasteland I end up just missing out on the great POIs because I have no time to get immersed into them as I am forever killing the zombies inside and out, also seems to tank my FPS which makes its super laggy, the lag effects the zombies ability as well they will just run right past me or go into break everything mode even if I'm 3ft away from them (doesn't seem to happen elsewhere)
I've wondered am I missing the point of the wasteland biome and this is just how it is now? or is the added feral sense breaking the game a bit causing endless waves of zombies to spawn in and chase me?
