    Summary: Error message and crash on start in Geforce Now
     

    Game Version: A21 b3xx

    OS/Version: Geforce Now

     

    Did you wipe old saves? No

     

    Did you validate your files? Yes

     

    Are you using any mods? No

     

    EAC on or off? Launch menu didn't load

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Activate Experimental Version from properties in Steam

    2) Download, update and install the game

    3) Launch the Game

     

    Actual result: The Game launches and ends in the following Error message "The game quit unexpectedly. Try playing it again. ERROR CODE: 0x8003001F", https://imgur.com/utTM5NB

     

    Expected result: Finish loading and display the main menu.

    Is it possible to get the log file from GeForce Now? The virtual machine shuts down after clicking away the error message. Also I can't see the exact version because the game never reaches the main menu.

    I'm running Geforce Now on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)

    I was informed that Geforce Now doesn't support experimental builds like this A21, you'll have to wait until the next stable release (whenever A21 goes "public" on the Steam version, you'll be able to get it then).

    Youre welcome, sorry you can't play yet 😕 That's a stinker. By theory, the first stable version of A21 you should be able to hop on.

    And I guess there is no kind of ETA on when a stable version might be released?

    Ack no not really, although from an opinion it won't be very long like previous alphas, so stay tuned.

    I have the same issue. I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Max using GeForce Now. 😞 I've been trying to figure it out for a couple of weeks.
