    Summary: Character perks/books/skills reset to base

    OS/Version: Windows 

    CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-core

    System Memory: 32 GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia RTX 4070

    Screen Resolution: 2560x1440

    Video Settings: Custom (GeForce Experience optimized)

    Game mode: SP

     

    Did you wipe old saves? No

     

    Did you start a new game? Yes

     

    Did you validate your files? No

     

    Are you using any mods? No

     

    EAC on or off? (?)

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description: playthrough fine through middle of day 2 (several sessions). logged off earlier today, when i logged back on i noticed after a little bit that all my skills were reset to 1 except for the books i'd found that session. same true for perks and books. the logout/login was inside a trader compound if that's relevant.

    I also ran into this on day 2. I started the server and instantly died then when I respawned I had nothing learned and was reset to level 1 with no perks. Friend loaded in and while they didn't die they had also been wiped.

    Same thing happened to me this morning after booting up my Day 14 game. Reset to level 1 without any book progress but have all my gear.

     

    RIP ~15 hours of gameplay since it isn't practical to recover progress with the debug menu in the new learn by looting system.

    Edit* - Not a bug, this looks like it was caused by the b317 update

    Ditto about 15 hrs play and all stats reset.  Everything else is same.  Horde base and loot still here.
