    Summary: After starting the game - independent of playing or just at the start menu - the game lags for a couple of seconds and one CPU thread spikes to 100 %
     

    Game Version: (A21 b30)

    OS/Version: Windows 23H2

    CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 7800X3D

    System Memory: 64 GB DDR5

    GPU Model and VRAM: Nvidia 4070 Ti, 12GB VRAM

    Screen Resolution: (Width and Height such as 1920x1080)

    Video Settings: Ultra

    Game mode: independent

     

    Did you wipe old saves? No

     

    Did you start a new game? No

     

    Did you validate your files? Yes

     

    Are you using any mods? No

     

    EAC on or off? ON

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Start game and join a game or wait within menu

    2)

    3)

     

    Actual result: On CPU thread goes to 100 % for some seconds and game starts lagging. After that everything runs without any further issues.

     

    Expected result: No lags/better use of multithreading

    Unfortunately I uninstalled the game already.

    IMHO it's not related to firewall/antivirus as on my previous hardward (Intel i9-9900K) it worked without any issues - only on my new AMD this issue occurs.

     

    For the hardware upgrade a reused my existing SSDs and just installed the new AMD drives and purged the Intel ones.
