Report an Alpha 21 Bug!

  • All level progress and loot stage wiped

    Summary: Played until late last night and saved character in a safe place (on top base). When I opened the game this morning it showed he had died and I respawned on top of my bed. My deaths still show zero and I had all my loot. His progress was lost as well as game stage. Really enjoying what you guys have done with the game, keep it up!

    Game mode: (not sure what this is. I made it a friends only server)

     

    Did you wipe old saves? (No)

     

    Did you start a new game? (Yes)

     

    Did you validate your files? (Yes)

     

    Are you using any mods? (No)

     

    EAC on or off? not sure what this is

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description: Just lost all progress in stages, books opened and levels applied to skills

    Expected result: (what you expect to occur) Just letting you know in case others report the same and there becomes a pattern

    Thank you for reporting.

    There were some changes to the quests in A21 b317 that reset the character progression for some players.  I'm sorry that you were affected by the change.  You may need to restart due to game save breaking changes and fixes often while the game is in the experimental branch. 

    We are aware of what had caused the character reset this time,  and are working on a way to avoid it in the future.
