  • Died and duplicated items in bag upon respawn.

    Summary: (A short description of the bug)
    I died on day one and hit Alt+F4 during the death animation, this led to me reloading the game today after the first hotfix. Upon loading i am once again shown the death animation and choose to spawn near my backpack. Upon respawning i have the full contents of my inventory in my backpack that spawned and upon my person.     Did you wipe old saves? (No)

     

    Did you start a new game? (Yes)

     

    Did you validate your files? (No)

     

    Are you using any mods? (No)

     

    EAC on or off?

    On

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

    Died and bag duplicated when selecting spawn on bag after Alt+F4ing out of the game

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1)Die on day 1 (may not be needed on day 1)

    2)Alt+F4 out of the game during death animation

    3)Load Game back up and choose to respawn near backpack

     

    Actual result: (description of what is occurring)

    Spawned back near bag and had all contents on inventory after death. The setting for this is off. Backpack still spawned with all gear in it.

    No idea just thought I would send the info.

    Thank you for reporting.

    I have tried multiple times to reproduce this issue by force closing the game during the death animation.

    The A21 b317 update had a change in it that broke player progression and reset your character for some players,  so the issue you had is most likely related to that.

    I am moving this to the can't reproduce section,  but if you are able to reproduce it on a new game started in A21 b317,  please let us know.
