Hmm, the log doesn't show much of anything sadly. That error is likely thrown because of the timing of the crash. Is there any folder called TheFunPimps in Appdata/LocalLow or Local? If there's a crash dump, that would be useful to look at.

Some other program may be interfering with the game; make sure not more than 1 antivirus is installed/running, and add the game folder and the appdata folder (roaming/7DaysToDie) to exclusion lists. Do this for Windows Defender too (well, it's called Windows Security now.... same difference):

    • Search for, or navigate to, Windows Security
    • Either click Open Windows Security or Virus & Threat Protection
    • Virus & threat protection again
    • There's a Manage settings button, go here
    • Scroll to the bottom for Add or remove exclusions
    • Add an exclusion
    • Folder
    • Select the 2 folders

Note that disabling everything can help, but unless you do some serious hacking around you won't be able to fully disable real-time protection, so adding an exclusion makes it completely ignored.

Actually, when the gpu driver was reinstalled, was DDU involved? If not try that out (just disable networking before you do it). With a card of that age, there's a good chance some driver files got jumbled together/corrupted. When you use either nvidia's or amd's software to do it, neither one fully removes all traces of the old drivers.

Thanks for the response, I'll break down what I witnessed.
Adding exclusions as you mentioned on the windows defender. Didn't work sadly.
As for any kind of further crash reports in the "TheFunPimps" directory, Their wasn't anything there either 😕
I also re-installed my graphics drivers just in case.
I then completely uninstalled the game and all of it's directories using this method:

    • Start Task manager and End task on either of these if running:
    • 7DaysToDie.exe
    • 7DaysToDie_EAC.exe
    • Start the Steam Client
    • Navigate to Games Library
    • Right-Click 7 Days To Die
    • Click Properties
    • Click Local Files Tab
    • Click the Browse Local Files Button
    • -This will open a Windows Explorer Window. The next Steps Take Place in Windows Explorer
    • Double-Click to open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
    • Right-Click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and select Run As Administrator
    • Click Uninstall, then check the Drop-Down.
    • If 7 Days To Die is listed, select it, and then Click Next to Uninstall 7 Days To Die Easy AntiCheat.
    • If 7 Days To Die is not listed as a Game selection option, then click Cancel.
    • In Windows Explorer, go up 2 Levels so that you should now see the '7 Days Top Die' folder which is likely '\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\'
    • For now leave this Windows Explorer open but switch back to the Steam Client
    • You should still have the properties screen for 7 Days To Die open, and be on the Local Files tab, if not, please follow the steps above to get there again.
    • Click the Delete Local Content Button - This will uninstall the game, follow the prompts.
    • Back to the Windows Explorer that we left running at probably '\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\'
    • Right-Click the 7 Days To Die folder
    • Click Delete
    • Type the following into the address bar without the quotes then press enter:
    • '%UserProfile%\Documents'
    • If you see a 7 Days To Die Folder (7DTD), Right-Click the 7 Days To Die (7DTD) folder and then Click Delete
    • Type the following into the address bar without the quotes then press enter:
    • '%AppData%'
    • If you see a 7 Days To Die Folder (7DTD), Right-Click the 7 Days To Die (7DTD) folder and then Click Delete
    • WARNING: The Next Steps involve the Registry. You can really mess your system up if you make a mistake or have a problem. Neither I, nor The Fun Pimps, nor any other person on the planet but yourself can take responsibility for following the remaining steps. The following steps are listed for completeness in potential troubleshooting techniques. If you choose not to delete the registry entries, skip to the after the Close Regedit step and re-install the game.
    • Click Start
    • In the app finder, or the run dialog, type 'regedit.exe' without quotes and hit enter
    • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps\
    • Right-Click the 7 Days To Die key
    • Click Delete
    • Close Regedit
    • Close Explorer
    • Click Install on 7 Days To Die in Steam Client
    • Right-Click 7 Days To Die in the Steam Client
    • Click Properties
    • Click Set Launch Options Button
    • Delete anything in that field
    • Click OK a few times

              Try Playing.

After completing the uninstall, I rebooted my PC and launched the game, just for it to happen immediately again, I'll leave the only log I have from the attempt I made.

At this point, I've been messing around with this for days on end, hours each day, it's getting really frustrating but I appreciate any further support as this seems like a very rare issue and finding any kind of information online has been grasping at straws.
I'd also like to point out if I hadn't before, the game was working completely fine with no issues just a week prior with no crashes or performance issues what-so-ever, I'm just at a complete loss here.
    Just wanna play :(

This is perplexing, but we're not giving up :)

Did you try deleting appdata yet? Take the 7daystodie folder and rename, delete, or move it. Those errors seem like everything is corrupted, or something is preventing the game from loading assets.

If that doesnt do it, we may need to do some system troubleshooting. If it's not even generating a crash log, usually that's a sign of a bigger problem.

Windows up to date? Turn off any ram oveclock, or xmp profile in the bios. It can take days or weeks to fully diagnose an unstable ram config, so  try disabling as a quick check. I don't see how that would cause it, but in my experience with computers, I've learned that saying "that's not going to do anything" can bite you later and that could be the thing you needed to do hehe.

Well get ya running one way or another.

    Windows is up to date
No ram overclocking / xmp ✔
I'm not entirely sure what could be causing the issue but free to keep tossing potential issues at me maybe something will click for this game to work!

Hey @Kiyoshiye has it been working yet? Honestly, I'm running out of solutions here, but there have been a number of Windows updates and Nvidia drivers, I'm hoping one of those resolves it. Are you having crashes in other games? I'd be willing to have a chat on Discord or something and do some troubleshooting with you live, maybe spot something.
