    Summary: Tier II Buried Supplies Quest Failed, exited save within search area, loaded save file, quest instantly failed

     

    Game Version: A20.5 (b2)

    Platform: Steam

    OS/Version: Windows 10

    CPU Model: Intel i5-11600k

    System Memory: 16GB RAM

    GPU Model and VRAM: Nvidia RTX 3060

    Screen Resolution: 2560x1440

    Video Settings: 

    Game mode: Singleplayer

     

    Did you wipe old saves? this is my only save

    Did you start a new game? no

    Did you validate your files? was a fresh game install on a new pc, so no

    Are you using any mods? no

    EAC on or off? should be on, i havent touched that setting

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description: Tier II Buried Supplies Quest Failed when closing save within search area

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

     

    1)take Tier II buried supplies quest

    2)close save within search area

    3)load save

     

    Actual result: Tier II Buried Supplies quest failed

     

    Expected result: Quest should not fail since my character does not leave the search area

    Thank you for reporting.

    This is by design to avoid some expected exploits.  The loot chest will still be at where it spawned,  without the quest item in it.
