  • "Needle & Thread" doesn't grant proper bonuses

    Summary: I've collected all the Needle & Thread magazines, and it says I can now craft military clothing. However, military armor is only available via Military Armor Schematic, so either the magazine bonus isn't written/defined properly, or it simply isn't doing what it's supposed to do.

     

    Game Version: A20.6 (b9)

    Platform: Steam

    OS/Version: Windows

    CPU Model: Ryzen 5 3600X

    System Memory: 16 GB

    GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia GTX 1660S 6 GB 

    Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 (16:9)

    Video Settings: Custom settings, but mostly around Medium

    Game mode: Single Player

     

    Did you wipe old saves? Yes

    Did you start a new game? Yes

    Did you validate your files? Yes

    Are you using any mods? No

    EAC on

     

    Status: NEW

     

    Bug Description:

     

    Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

     

    1) Find and read all Needle & Thread magazines

    2) Check if military armor is available for crafting or not

     

     

    Actual result: No, it isn't *sad face again*

     

    Expected result: Alright, let's get that military gear! *happy face again*

    military clothing includes apparelArmyPants and apparelArmyShirt according to the XML. So it is doing what it is supposed to do.

     

    So the question is whether armor is a sub-category of clothing in some supported languages.
