  • Windows 10 crash on launch

    Summary: Clicking "Play" on Steam, it opens as normal, displays the loading texts and then shows an error without even getting to the start menu. This does not happen when the app/.exe itself is right clicked and opened.

    Video Settings:  High

    Game mode: Singleplayer 

     

    Did you wipe old saves? No

    Did you start a new game? No

    Did you validate your files? Yes

    Are you using any mods? No

    EAC on or off? on

    Thank you for reporting.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue.

    I will be needing your launcher log as well in order to write a ticket.  It is located in the same folder as your output logs.

     

    Could you try running the game through the launcher with EAC turned off and see if that would work?  Select 'Show game launcher' after pressing the play button on Steam and uncheck 'Use EasyAntiCheat (EAC)'.
