  • Hatches allow players to enable and disable AI pathing at will

    Pichii

Use 2 hatches in lieu of a standard wood door and angle them so they open outwards facing zombie ingress.
If the hatches are closed, zombies cannot see it as a pathway and avoid it as if it were a closed path.
If you open the 2 hatches, the zombies instantly stop attacking super-structure and path as intended.
You can close the hatches with the zombies attempting the path and they will instantly abandon pathing and attack nearby blocks again.
Was able to consistently repeat this during blood boom but i just completed my first.
(Solo player, Friends only, no others in game)
PS: The closed hatches worked to prevent zombie pathing 24/7 and not just on Blood Moon.

Hatches were made with wood and applied to 50pillars (from circle menu) and were upgraded from wood->Cobble.
The hatches were upgraded to max iron (T3) and 2nd iron (T2) -Note raw iron not forged.
