  • XP not properly granted

    DemetriX

Summary: I have a modded Iron Spear (Burning Shaft Mod), and I've set a zombie ablaze. I've turned to fighting other zombies, and the first one died from the burn damage, however, I received absolutely no experience. Is it meant to be like that or not, I do not know, hence this report. If it's a bug, yay me, if it's not, sorry for wasting your time.

    EAC on

    Status: NEW

    Bug Description:

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

    1) Get the Burning Shaft Mod and apply it to a weapon, or just use a torch or any other thing capable of setting zombies ablaze

    2) Attack the zombie until it starts to burn

    3) Let it burn to death and see that no XP is being granted for it, even though it is player-applied burn on it that killed it

Actual result: No XP *sad face*

    Expected result: XP *happy face*

Hm. Though I was thinking more about multiplayer setting; whether p2p or server. You say that it happens in single player.

Does it happen for you 100% of times? Didn't succeed in reproducing in single player.

It doesn't happen 100% of the times.

Also, I've confirmed it happens with bleeding as well, and I would say that it happens more often with the bleed effect.
