Legs breaking / dying from very short falls

Status: NEW

Bug Description: took a small fall, like 1/2half of a block and took 92 points of damage killing me and leaving the host with 10 health, later on when just randomly jumping around on flat ground broke my leg and took 88 points of damage

Detailed steps to reproduce the bug:

1) fall small heights, 1 block or less or just jump

Actual result: dying or breaking legs  while jumping or falling small distances 

Expected result: to not die or break a leg jumping or falling small distances
