    i'm all for this also, i have the memory of a housefly when crafting so having the ability to pin a recipe will be top notch.

    just to wrap my head around this, when we go into our skill tree, sex rex won't be there at all under strength, right?  will each weapon we learn about have it's own "stamina spot"

    seeing that the stam will be reduced depending on the weapon you learn about makes this a bit easier to take.  i thought sex rex was being removed totally so all in all, it's an "ok" change

    It's just me. Not the devs.

    it's pure frustration on my part.  i love this game and just want to know what is up with it and what to expect.  being given riddles to solve is a bit disheartening and i hope you can appreciate that sentiment.  i have over 4k hours in this game and want to best for it. 

    while i have your ear, can you please change the mining sounds back to what they were in a19?  i mine...a lot.  like, an unreasonable amount of mining for any one human.  the metal on metal sound is just one of my pet peeves :)

    but anyway we could still be barking up the wrong tree entirely. I do like the idea of sexual tyrannosaurus being cut as a perk and distributed across all relevant other weapon perks. Because it always makes strength somewhat necessary imo

    my hopes would be the devs would just tell us what they're doing instead of giving us riddles to solve.  just lay out what changes will or won't be.

  6. So i tweaked the words on the steps because of the confusion with the word "search".  totally my fault...you'll want to look for the person's steam name or gamertag in the server list.  you'll have to refresh multiple times to find it though.

     

    Here are my appended directions

    Here are the steps for Xbox for PC to Steam

    1. Click join game

    2. Select the region

    3. Click search

    4. Click P2P (the second menu at the top)

    5. The steam name should appear in the list. If not, refresh until you see it.

    The steps for Steam to Xbox for PC

    1. Click Join game

    2. Select the region

    3. Click search

    4. Click P2P (second option on the menu)

    5. The person's gamertag should appear in the list. If not, refresh until you see it.

    the wrenching sound, to me, fits but when that same sound is heard when mining, it just doesn't make sense because it's so "off".  i would love to go back to the old sounds or have something more...metallic.

    i mine a lot and i've found the new sound pretty unbearable.  this is the only thing in a20 that i just flat out don't like.  i'm working on a way to change the XML to make all the mining sounds like the sound of hitting rocks.  like you said, it's very fingernails on the chalkboard.  i would love to know from TFP, what is the new sound supposed to sound like? i just can't place what the sound is and maybe that's why i find it so off putting.  it's like if uncanny valley had a sound.  

  9. if the sound was somewhat metallic and not so "strange".   I know that is subjective but it's not like a sound i've ever heard.  even if the sound was similar to the stone ax hitting metal, that would be great.  this new sound is very plastic mixed with some industrial beats circa 1998.

  10. i'm curious about this change:

    • Updated metal hit metal and metal destroy sounds

    when i'm mining with my iron pickax, it doesn't sound metallic at all.  the new sound reminds me of breaking down bulletproof glass.  I switched to my stone ax and the sound was very much like what it was prior to the change. 

     

    i'm trying to determine if i'm having a hardware issue or if this non metallic sound is what was intended.
