Unfortunately this is what this mod author is like...  These are messages that he had sent after his mod was pulled or reported.  In one of them he is describing how he took the XML from one of my modlets and directly put it into one of his XML files after people had reported the mod on Nexus.

     

    I should probably also mention that these 3 messages are in their entirety and he had no messages, replies or contact from me prior to.

There hasn't been talk about VFX updates on the blood effects and those showcases feel like they're just testing out the limbs falling and not the overall visual feedback. Same thing for hammers cutting an arm off?

     

    The dismemberment we have in A20 was already the same - you could shoot Steve in the head and his head would just pop off.  Would be nice in the end, when they're done working on the system, that the dismemberment matched the type of damage inflicted and I'm sure they're working their way to that.

    Thanks for posting that video!  That was actually pretty cool to see.  To be fair though... I 100% would love to go back to how the flashlight worked in the video - the helmet light mod and weapon light mods are too much and whitewash everything.

    Check the items.xml file.  You'll likely find what you need there :)

Yeah, you might have seen a few of us play-testing the Twitch Integration Extension live on stream around Twitch before Twitchcon too but most likely won't be released until A21.  I doubt A20.7 will be released before then.  So you can add the extension to twitch but can't actually use it at this point.

Game is definitely worth the purchase... and it goes on sale frequently.  If you're looking for end game content - it might not be the game for you - but the beginning and mid is pretty great thus far.  Best part about the game is that it suits lots of different play styles and interests.  If you're a fan of killing zombies, building, crafting, scavenging, looting all the things, this game is for you!

     

    I have almost 3K hours in the game thus far (and typically I only put 100-200 max into a game...) and have created lots of modlets for the game as well.  If you finally get bored with vanilla you can begin to dive into the countless overhauls and mods which further add to the game.

    Your screenshot shows you're running 7DTD version 20.5... but isn't Ravenhearst version 8.3.6 only updated for 20.3?  That could be the issue.

    Need better info than that to assist... are you sure you have the SAME version on your client as you do on your Server?

    It does around 150-200 damage before expiring, there's no debuff icon, and bandages/water does not stop it.

    This is my first DF playthrough and I am loving it. Day 17 and wanted to do the job "The Reward" from Eve. Went on a 5 km long ride just to find out I need those colored key cards for this job (I guess). So 5 km back to my base. I have a few blue and green ones. How do I know when I have enough key cards of all required colors to actually do the job completely? Are the key cards consumed after usage so that I need more than one of each color? Doing this on trial and error and therefore driving 10 km back and forth for nothing each time seems like a waste of time and bad idea. Maybe consider a hint in that direction for the quest description.

     

    There are Red keycards too... I'm a little colorblind... found this out after a LONG trip back to base for the cards to find out the door didn't want green... it wanted red... lol

    I absolutely agree... I feel like you get WAY too much gas from oil shale... I feel like they need to make us work harder for gas 😛
