[Got the mod to work but when I went on the bullets are messed up]

Is there anyone here who has successfully gotten Darkness Falls to work on their Mac? Ive been wanting to try this mod for forever, ive been following the steps the mod site gives but im clearly doing something wrong since it crashes the game the second i open it.
