  1. Hey guys sorry I been absent from forums. I have been occasionally checking in. Thanks to all who are helping. I should have v5.1.2 out tomorrow with some good fixes if testing goes good tonight. And I will have new download site made available this weekend.

     

     

    A few friends and I were planning on starting a new game tonight on my dedicated server if you would like us to test out 5.1.2 for you

  2. I don't have much experience editing the loot.xml files so I could be completely wrong in saying this but when I looked at the file it seems like 3 of the class papers are commented out so they will never drop as loot (I am not sure if this affects traders or not)

  3. Does anyone know if this mod needs a launcher to be used in a dedicated server? can i just drag and drop the files into the game server side and in the players side like valmod to work effectively?

     

    Yes you pretty much do exactly what you would do for Valmod, I use nitrado they have a FTP site to upload the files I think most servers will have that.

    I really want to try this mod because it looks amazing, but this throws me off completely because if I'm reading it correctly you have to have the workbench/forge open while its crafting something? Seems like a tedious and not fun game mechanic, if I am reading it properly is there a way to disable that?

  5. A few thoughts after playing the mod quite a bit -

     

    Its great and thanks for making it, I can't even play the base game anymore lol. I have noticed the Marksman class part 3 doesn't seem to reward everything properly, I get the shotgun but not the loot crate or the splatter gun perk (I think this is due to the shotgun skill not being the right rank and the perk being locked). I think some of the class quests have rewards that might have been for A15 still listed too because some say tool smithing + 20 or something like that. I like the class quests rewards but I think the golden tipped machete is too overpowered for the fighter questline, when I choose that as my first class I get an insanely good weapon that one shots almost every zombie early game even on insane difficulty. Not sure what to do for that questline, maybe just reward the golden hunting knife? Although that's more a personal preference than a bug. Also I'm not sure how people feel about craftable car batteries and small engines I personally think those should be recipes included in the base game TFP needs to find a better solution to that other than wrenching cars IMO. I'm going to add those in myself, just a thought about adding them to the mod.

  6. this mod is fun and all but it has so much issues, i completed a quest from the trades class and now i only make lvl 1 tools

     

    this is not fun.

     

    I had this same issue, the problem is you got +1 to tool smithing as a reward and you are currently a higher toolsmithing level than your level will allow, once you hit the level required for your current tool smithing level then it'll start making tools properly
