[A19e Nitrogen - UNSTABLE]

I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on adding a POI for me. I've gotten maps with NitroGen created no issues. I've installed the COMBO pack, no issues. I have gone through the steps Damocles outlined for this process and my POI does not get added.

 

Steps:

 

#1 download and install Done

#2 edit the included resources/prefablist.txt Done

 

add a new line to this list, using the following format:

 

my_poi_name, something(not read), 2(face north), y-offset, x-wide, y-high, z-deep, NitroGet-Zone

the y-offset is usually -1 for most flat pois with a ground layer. The x,y,z dimensions are visible in the prefabeditor.

 

example:

 

cantadians_super_shop, COMMERCIAL, 2, -1, 34, 20, 45, smalltown;downtown;houses

 

Done. Actually there are three prefablist.txt files in NitroGen and I added it to all three

 

#3 start NitroGen and generate a new world Done

#4 copy the generated world to the games "GeneratedWorlds" folder Done

 

You can check if your prefab was inserted by looking at the generated prefabs.xml, and look for the pois Prefab is not present

 

Loading world, prefab is not added. I can load the world editor and add it no problem.

I don't understand what is not working here.

Well to answer my own comment, I discovered that the default download for java is the 32 bit version, not the 64 bit version. With the 64bit version the Nitrogen.exe file works

Just trying this out, but I hate java so I had to decide to install java. I'll keep it for now.

 

Nitrogen.exe doesn't work. Advises java is not installed and opens in my browser the java download page. Not required, but your detection code isn't working.

 

Double clicking on the jar works and nitrogen opens.

[A16 - STARVATION Mod for A16]

im not really qualified to say anything, but if u run the game throu the launcher and u are sure that ur starvation mod is up to date (simply recheck the mods or do a hard reset by deleting the mod and installing again) and u are still getting errors when trying to get on the server, then maybe the server is not yet updated and therefor creates some issues when u try to load into it? like i said im not qualified to really say if thats the case, but thats my best guess

 

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that, I even tried installing the mod by hand rather than using the mod launcher and it generates the same errors. The server was running fine with 16.4 for many others but I could not seem to get it to work.

Hi there,

 

Can't get this mod to run. I've updated Mod Launcer, and using 16.4. I am trying to login to a server but it generates a lot of errors and hangs the client.
