[A19 - no traders?]

Started a test game, nothing wrong, trader found. My kids wanted to play so I deleted all saved games, began a new game and trader never appears, no matter what I do

Hi guys hope u all had a nice Christmas wonder if anyone can help I'm trying to do the quest to craft sticks for quest but when I type sticks in crafting the only thing that comes up is dynamite sticks

scrap wood to get sticks
