Just place it somewhere, don't need to be an iron deposit.

Wait until the timer is up, loot it.

    And it will dig again.

Sometimes the timer get bugged and it show an very high count, just pickup the extractor an replace it.

LOL dropped it on an iron deposit and an hour later got a total of 59 lead. Please tell me it is not the garbage i think it is.

conflicting mods? i couldnt imagine which. but you could try moving out mods until it works. it sounds like daunting work but if you really want to figure it out. only thing i could think of. well that or reinstalling DF

No other mods installed. Not game breaking just a tad more difficult to get glue.

  3. Lol, sounds pretty funny. I assume it's a game bug because restarting the game fixed the issue, but I don't know whether there is a easier way to get rid of the problem.

I waited for the loot containers to despawn then tried to import but issue was the same. It seems to be the same blocks that have texture issues each time i try it. Very strange indeed. Just a few blocks at ground level. Not a big issue just thought it weird.

  4. lol. That's a weird one. You might want try making a secondary copy of 7D2D and mod it with the link below. Then just load your prefab in the edit tool. Much simpler method of prefabbing in a standalone (non-server) environment. No blocks to clear. Hit Esc, and on the right click the Prefab button and the... Erm.. Show Ground check box. Forgot the actual name of the check box. This is going to go into my next prefab guide, for the simplest way to get started prefabbing.

    Cheers mate will try that.

  5. I am getting something strange happening when i import an airblock to clear the import area before importing a prefab. A heap of loot containers rain down into the hole. If i don't quit game and restart i get texture issues.

  6. Sorry to be a pain mate. Can i rotate textures? I want a texture to face a specific direction, as in a bowling lane with texture down lane rather than across lane. Is it as simple as rotating the block?

  7. No, sorry. Not implemented yet (or maybe just deactivated^^) because there were some missing block rotations. So it would work with all blocks.

No worries mate i figured it might be a herculean task to get it right.

  8. You can by using the same process pille did above. Use the 180 option. Then reimport it using hals editor commands or stompys api mod while in game. Which you do by standing in the exact position you need to to import it to where you need

No that is not going to work. If i rotate 180 i get this.

  9. Just realised what i wanted was not what i needed LOL (story of my life). What i needed to do was flip the selection to place on opp side to mirror the existing layout. Probably not possible?

  10. I am still having an issue getting all the textures to stick when i import the prefab. Tried 3 different locations and each time it was different blocks not textured. I am thinking the size of the prefab may be causing some texture loading issues?
