interesting I've done 8 police cars so far and its never spawned them. hmmm, I wonder if its a certain hit points damage before the pick axe. I usually only have to hit the pickaxe twice to trigger the alarm after the wrench power attacks

I've never had a police car not spawn zombies while using a pickaxe. Even Jawoodle gets them every time that ive seen

Power attack the Police car twice with wrench, Then hit with the pick axe. Alarm will sound but no zombie spawn. Hit once more and loot. You're welcome

I would prefer more of a hybrid system: You learn by reading to unlock certain levels and then actually advance your skill by doing the skill. Would be similar to educating yourself through school but advancing your craft by practicing what you read.
The amount of books/magazines are waaay to abundant as is. Day 49 and I have pretty much have everything I want.

Anyone else have any issues Aiming the Spot Light?
It gives me the preview window but won't allow me to direct the light to a desired spot. (Yes its powered up)
got it working. Had to remove them and replace them back. Maybe a glitch

Don't mean to interrupt the whining and crying, but what's the latest word on A21 Streamer Weekend/release date of A21

By day 25, I am swimming in food from my crops and by day 40ish I go almost a week before even remembering to touch it.
Instead of only maybe 15 farm plots in A19, I now do on average of 60 farm plots. I plant around 15 potatoes, 25 corn, 10 blue berries, 12 shrooms, and 5 pumpkins.
I rotate on which item I'm running low on and plant more of those. I average getting 6 out of 10 seeds per crop harvested and then replant back up to what my needs are.
I also supplement food that I find on traders and vending machines, as I'm swimming in dukes.

First I will start with this; I LOVE the direction that 7 days is going. It has come a LONG way from since I started back in A10.
The cities look like actual cities now and I can't wait till all the polish bits are added from A21.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
Now for my 3 main gripes:
1. FPS
I usually play on Ultra and bounce anywhere from 80fps to 190s depending on where I am on the map. The Tier 5 buildings are causing major fps drops to where I average around 30fps.... especially on the Dishong Tower. The new Crack-a-Book HQ I was up around 40fps
2. Vehicles falling through the map....
Several times I've come back to my base only to find my 4x4 or motorcycle buried about 300km beneath the surface or half-way across the map.
I've also had my robotic sledge fall through the ground during a horde night.
3. Block stability
Have spent hours grinding materials, building a massive horde base only to have it fall because of the stability bug. Only way to fix it at the moment is to use the 'Recalculate Stability' button in DM mode
Yes I know that this is still in Alpha. I still love this game and can't wait to see how amazing it will be once it goes Gold.

Usually just beyond the sidewalk in the street and if I have doubts, then I'll place it on opposite side of the street. I've never had any issues doing it this way.

agreed. One of the things they added was a new POI and fixed other POI issues to cities which would change how things are generated

This happened to me as well just a moment ago during a rain. It looked more like destroyed ground but eventually went away after about 20 seconds.

Been playing since Alpha13 and its one of the few games that I keep coming back too. Have somewhere around 18k Hrs played between Xbox and PC, and I look forward to the future updates to keep bringing me back for another 15k+hrs
