1-2 weeks at least, i have a lot of changes to work on before pushing the update. Sadly those changes can't be released in incremental steps and need to happen all at once
As sub said, gotta all happen at once. But it will be a great update. Sub has been putting a lot of effort into this next update. Like the skill page rework. It will need to be balanced and that takes a bit of time.I'm fine waiting. Just was curious about it cause I like to have some things planned in my future

Yes and no. Sometimes it does feel, that TFP are very short sighted in terms of certain aspects of the game, when designing some new elements, but overall they have done a great job, because if it wasn't the case, I wouldn't have started to make the mod, if the base game wasn't great to begin with
There are so many modders out there and only a handful of programmers for 7 days to die and it's normal, that they haven't thought about every single possible scenario, that could be modded in to the game. Some mods push the game to it's very limits in certain ways, further than the devs could have imagined or needed even, so I can't blame them
What I meant is, they simply don't plan things. They add something, later they change it, then either rework it or simply delete. I hope when A17 hits, mods coming for vehicles will offer many new engines, or at least few and the tools to mod more!

The fun pimps designed the generators, so that only a specific type of engine can fit into the slot. I can't changed that just by XML. There is a more powerful version for car engines, but for other engines I didn't add generators because of block ID limits.

Can you explain me why I can not add any other engine except small engine into a generator?

I doubt they are gonna fix the game until the beta or official release happens. Just look how many broken elements are in the game for years, no way they are gonna fix them now.

I'm almost done with loot list changes for all zombies, time to do some internal testing. Hopefully the new update will be out in a few hours

Hello again. I have a question about crafting wooden frames. Why does it take 3 second to craft one (when I have full leveled fast crafting etc.)? It's a real pain in the ass and you can't even craft these in workbench...

No custom models just yet and I am going to hold off on adding too much custom models to the game in general, because of the strain on the performance, that any additional models will give. I'm more about gameplay and importing custom models, that add very little regarding gameplay isn't something I would do. First custom models, that will be added once I get into SDX will be custom workstation models and ranged weapons.

Wow. TFP should hire you and maybe this game could be fun again... And your progress seems like Subquake "wants some more ni**a".
Can't wait until TFP finally optimize and fix their game plus add an official mod support cause the time and the content they create does not go well with each other.
