Great news.
Click on Manage Modlets, and filter by DUST2DEATH, and you should fine what you are looking for. I'm not sure which modlets are compatible with Darkness Falls though. There's a few to pick from.
I've played around 4 hours of this with the mods, as well as a whole bunch of modlets, and I haven't encountered any issues since! Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it!

I won't be able to do much about the speed you are experiencing, other than hope that the initial download is the one that takes the most time, and from this point forward, it should be much faster.
For some reason my downloading picked up speed by like 10,000%, and it's already finished. I loaded the game up and it worked! The mod is now clearly active in my game!
Now that DF is out of the way, how do I play both HDHQ and DF at the same time?

Is Direct Download checked? If so, uncheck ,and try again.
I am currently redownloading Darkness Falls without direct download, but judging by the speed of things, it may take upwards of 5 hours like before.

I can't find any of the features from Darkness Falls in the game. My backpack and crafting queue are not expanded, titanium and scrap tools aren't in the cheat menu, there are no UI changes, etc.
Also, how do I play with both Darkness Falls and HDHQ at the same time? The mod pages say they are compatible, which seems to imply that they can both be active at the same time

After excluding a bunch of folders and URLs related to 7dtd from bitdefender, I redownloaded and installed HDHQ and all of its modlets. It was a complete success, and seemed to work as intended.

When playing HDHQ, I actually found a few changes made by the mod. The ground and flower textures were the same, but certain trees looked different and there was a new plant. It seems I'm only getting some features?
*edit* I do have HDHQ modlets installed; that may be why I'm getting some HDHQ changes but not others

I am hopelessly confused by this mod loader, it seems to be nothing like any I've ever used in the past. All I'm trying to do is play Darkness Falls with HDHQ at the same time, but I simply can't figure it out.
Disabling SSL allowed me to pre-sync both HDHQ and DF in under 3 seconds, but one of my HDHQ modlets took an hour to download, while the other modlets were instant. I also can't figure out how to actually play with either mod. I click on "starting splash screen", and under "installed mods" I see both mods. If I click "play" on Darkness Falls, it's just a vanilla game with it's own set of saves. If I click "play" on HDHQ, it's just a vanilla game with an entirely different set of saves. I've watched the tutorial videos, and yet they don't seem to fix my problems

How long is it supposed to take to pre-sync mods such as HDHQ 2k or Darkness Falls? HDHQ literally took 2 hours to pre-sync, and judging by the rate of Darkness Falls' pre-sync, it's going to take at least 5 hours. Am I doing something wrong, or it seriously that slow?
*edit* I have a fast internet connection, so I don't think that is bottlenecking me

I installed the 2K Main files for A17.3 through the 7d2d launcher, and nothing else, and when I try to join the game I crash during loading: https://pastebin.com/x2eBhaaM . Can anyone please help me out?

Does this mod change the way clay generates, because I can't find a single spot of it for the life of me! It is a random generation world, I checked an insane amount of forest land, looking at the ground and for flower patches, but I can tell that clay does not spawn on the surface anymore, and I don't know where else it would spawn.
I've had to cheat in clay because it's nowhere to be found

Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

I found an issue that I think may be caused by this mod. Some zombies in POIs in my Navezgane world have only 1 health, and they never wake up, even when subjected to loud noises.
