  1. Can someone explain why this happened.....? I just generated a new world and this is the first trader for the quest.

    EDIT: Ok it seems like its SUPPOSED to look like this? I think? Can you let me know what pack has these type of POIs because I really only like things that generally fit the game more or less.

  2. Damn stallion your the man bro. Was expecting this around wensday ANND you announce infinity which also sounds amazing bud. Cant wait to Gen a new world and try this out, I'll report back later with results. Thanks again for all the had work you and everyone put into this project. 

  3. Amazing. It sucks I have to wait another week but I'm psyched. So happy to see you getting this project finished up for A20. I'm sure you have plenty but if you need any help just let me know. I'll be eagerly awaiting a definite date, thanks for the update your a God among men sir. 

  4. Either pay or deal with a huge grind added on purpose to make you more likely to pay to skip the Hassel... Force seems like the right word, but as I said let's drop the issue. I said before I love the work the dev has done I just don't agree with how he decided to implement donation features in the mod but it's his decision. End of story. 

  5. I'm ignorant because I called out the micro transaction in your mod and think it's a bad practice? Well I appreciate what you given to this modding community I just wish you wouldn't force users to pay to skip a huge grind that you added. But this is getting a bit out of hand so let's just drop it and move on.

    Except you Gate certain items behind a supporter wall. It also seems like multiple people in this thread have been playing Hours and Hours not finding this "premium" item, but wait just pay the Dev and skip all the headache. Great mod bad practices. Adding micro transactions to a mod is just dumb. I really hope in the future you remove that dumb crab and let people donate if they enjoy the mod not force people to donate if they don't want to do your forced grind for a premium item. 

     

     

    Edit: I believe I was able to rip out all the supporter junk, I'll test and report back. PM if you want a tutorial but I will not upload it against the devs wishes. 

  7. Any mod that adds in supporter only features and penalizes everyone who doesn't pay is just down right greedy and ridiculous. I was really excited to use this on my server but refuse to have pay only features on it. Honestly I wouldn't have any problems donating a few dollars but when a dev goes about it like this then hell no. I'm sure there will be excuses like "I worked hard shouldn't I get paid" all the other modders work hard too and if they need funds the put a donation link up and ask for them politely, not locking things in your mod. 

  8. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was considering this mod for my server and started seeing words like "supporter only" and @%$# like that... Is there actually supporter only features in this mod? I did read that everything can be obtained for free but does that mean if you pay it makes it easier or gives you items? I'm honesty shocked at the whole aspect of this lol. 

  9. Ah I gotcha, thanks for the info. I think I will hold off and try and wait before I gen a new map. I hate to do that then a day or two later cp drops and I need to start over again lol.

     

     

     

    EDIT: Stallion just said he has a few things to tie up before release but its almost ready. Not sure how you missed it since it was right above your post.

Awesome didn't actually see the update for the spider expansion so that will help and the special zombies folder in there is the one from the OP, not sure if you thought it was a different mod or not. Really excited to try all these changes in the morning though so I will get back to everyone with the results soon.

     

    EDIT: Also the server I have is ran off a spare gaming computer just for hosting and im not too sure how well it would run for people not connected to it directly. I'll actually invite a friend or two into the server tomorrow and see how it does  and if it holds up well then I have no problem sharing the IP with the community.

    I uploaded a picture of my mod list so if you have any suggestions or maybe some config edits that I can do that would be awesome because it definitely seems like they are all fighting over which one spawns first/more.

    It's a good question. As Stallion said, the converter tools are a starting point for bringing an A19 POI to A20, not a complete solution.

     

    If you had CP47 and ran the conversion tool, you'd have a bunch of POIs with a bunch of quirks like missing microwave ovens, mailboxes facing the wrong way, holes in buildings where blocks changed sizes, you won't have some of the new final loot boxes, etc.  But technically, you could still play them... if you can get them placed.

     

    The trouble is they won't be rigged to be included in the new RWG. They won't have the appropriate tags. RWG will ignore them. You could edit each XML file and add tags and get them to place in the Wilderness, and sometimes placed on the outer edge of a settlement along rural tiles.

     

    The big problem you'll face is the CP47 POIs aren't the standard RWG sizes for A20. They won't fit into the Tiles. To make them fit into the Tiles, you have to change the POI's size. This often comes with hard decisions, akin to "do I remove rooms or add rooms?" Suddenly, you're looking at hundreds of hours of work.

     

    Ah I gotcha. Yea I wasn't planning on trying it myself or anything I was just curious. I've talked to stallion a little and you can tell he's close and just tying a few things up so its best to just wait anyway. Honestly been using your pack zztong and a few other POIs until CP48 is ready lol :D

  13. Couldnt you just use the prefab converter tool to convert the a19 POIs to a20, someone posted it not too long ago but you would have to go through EVERY poi in the pack. Would that still cause a bunch of issues? Sorry if this was asked already.

    I may be wrong, but as far as I know enzombies makes changes to several things (like entity groups) so you want it to load before any other zombie mods. Simply rename that mod folder so it loads before the others (I think I had to put a 0a at the beginning of it so it loads before the noc mods… just make sure when you sort the mods in the mod folder it appears before them when sorted alphabetically from a-z)  and see if that helps. I’m not sure if this has changed since I last loaded it and other zed mods.

    I will go ahead and give this a try now and see if it helps, thanks for ANY help on the matter because im pretty lost lol.

    Well I use quite a few mods so maybe it's a compatibility issue instead. I use multiple expansion packs and zombie packs such as enzombies and snufkin zombie plus, improved wandering hordes, firearm expansion.
