EDIT: So I ended up moving it to yet another location (after a fresh install) and it worked!

 

 

 

So the error continues. I completely wiped the install, cleaned it of all traces, installed it in a different location through steam, and copied the files over to a new place as well. The world eventually launches... Just without any of the things in the errors (which from what I can tell is literally all of the Darkness Falls POIs? 

 

Anybody got any idea?

Nah I was launching from the new copy. I might actually remove all of the files and start fresh, just to avoid any issues.

Hey guys!

 

Got the mod set up, but it's throwing a heap of errors when loading...

 

When I copied my original install over, I made sure I removed all the previous mods... and I'm trying to load the smallest Darkness Falls map.

 

I keep getting the error 'could not load...'

and 'access to the path... is denied'.

 

The game asked permissions on first load, and I hit accept... Any ideas?

Something a friend and I wondered about for a while now. I have googled, but it's not giving me anything. 

 

Is it possible/is there already a mod that adds a HUD map of the terrain, like if you pressed M anyway?

Damn I never even thought that was an option... I've just chucked a copy in my Programs directory and have it working now

Hey Khaine! Huge fan of your mod, but don't have a lot of experience with installing mods and stuff.

 

I want to be able to keep the vanilla install, but also your DF mod, without having to move the mods folder each time I want to play the vanilla (because I play with friends that like the vanilla). 

 

Is there a way to do this?
