Kage848
This is going to be a strange request but here it goes. I never started over for b233. I played b231 and stayed on it for b233. I was getting a lot of wolves. I was wondering what's up with all the wolves? Is this because I didnt restart my world? I'm going to explain this in a video but I wanted to make sure I have the correct information first. So what say you? Thanks in advance.

Doombringer101
Almost certainly due to not restarting. Other people have mentioned hordes of zombie bears in place of sleepers in pois' I have not personally seen them, I restarted my games each time. Kalarro
I love when you start a new game, but I dont think its possible right now to play a series with restarts every day. If you want to make videos before stable, maybe you should do tests in creative or things like that.

They are annoying but better than still playing 16.
Guppycur
So I'm guessing that when the game loads, it saves entities, blocks, etc to internal IDs, in the save game. Load the game, load the IDs. If they change something in a build, new IDs. But, load the old save, the IDs are now for different things. /guppy guessing since 1971
Perramas
I thought I saw that somewhere. There's so much on these forums though it all become a blur sometimes lol It is talked about in this thread https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?100881-Bears-bears-everywhere Gazz and Madmole have posts talking about the problem with using old save games with new experimental builds
JCrook1028
I did restart my world and still see a TON more wolves than before. Yes, I even wiped the world folder AND didn't use the old world name anyway so that's not the issue.
LuckyStar
It is talked about in this thread https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?100881-Bears-bears-everywhere Gazz and Madmole have posts talking about the problem with using old save games with new experimental builds What I'm not seeing is suggested temporary fixes. Did you happen to come by anything that mentioned a tweak we can make to the XML's to alleviate this?
Bhaaltazar
I didnt restart my world than and when I went to loot a dungeon sleepers were replaced with wolfs - those closets looking funny with tails sticking out lol. Roland
Free food! Yes. It doesn't seem accidental that the ID for refrigerators became the ID for bears...
FileMachete
Yes. It doesn't seem accidental that the ID for refrigerators became the ID for bears... Now if only there was a seperate ID for the bed linens, and that changed to a bear... that'd be funny!
