Hello, now im hungry for more knowledge.

Are there any chance we can do this?

I would like to get more involved into making mods but I dont know where to start..

Any tips and that would be awesome.

Read the stickies up top in the mods section especially the xpath explanation thread and anything on xpath as that's the awesome new way this game has gone for modding they are called modlets which do not actually change the xmls like a nornal old way mod does amd you can then switch and change modlets as you wish without affecting your actual vanilla game. So make a bad modlet or one you don't like easily removed rather then going to each individual xml and removing mods.

Read the appropriate tutorials in the game modification section bottom threadunder prefab (forgot name lol)

get notepad++ open up your 7 dtd game folder then data and copy vanilla config folder rename the copy configvanilla or something then open up normal config and mod away try diff things trial and error and off any questions or queries or errors you cant can work out etc post a request on the modding section and we all will be glad to help :-)

Great advice from Stallionsden. The only thing I'd add to it, is if you want to add new items and blocks to the game then you are also going to learn the basics of Unity, most items you'd want to add can be found for free somewheres online but you will need to learn a little bit of unity to get them into the game. But do what Stallionsden recommended first. You'll need to learn basic xml before you'll be ready to add your own items. You can find tutorials on youtube to help with this come the time. :-)
