Govic Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 I can generate a 16k map on my server (takes like 30 minutes), but clients always time out on trying to join. They are able to make it past downloading the map, but unable to create the character as this is when they time out. Is anyone else having a similar problem with making maps larger than 8k? SylenThunder Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 This will happen until RWG is optimized better. Currently only 8k maps are supported, and even then it only works 95% of the time. This is one of those known issues since it first released. I was able to get a 12k map to kinda work, but still had issues with almost half of my players connecting.
