azmothman
So in my inventory it indicates that I have 100 wood, if I go to chop down a tree then it will state in the bottom right how much wood I collected, so as an example +21. YET when I go back into my inventory it does not add up, meaning in my example I had 100 in my inventory it may indicate 101 not 121.
Roland
Best to get this on video and submit it in the bug thread. Saying "may indicate 101" won't cut it. This could be a good report if you can consistently reproduce it and show it happening.
Rez090
Something similar like this happens in Fallout 4 doing settlement building, sometimes it shows you have enough materials to build something but in actuality you have less than what it says. Kalarro
Are you sure it's not just the fact that the gathering text is cumulative? I mean, imagine you are getting 1 wood with each chop, the tooltip would say +1,+2,+3 ... +20. Then if you check your inventory and see 100, and quickly chop again it will say +21, but you just got 1 more, the 21 is cumulative from the recent chops. Khulkhuum
Add the fact that sometimes the counter resets mid chopping/gathering, which means for example you constantly hit with the axe and instead going from +22 to +24, you get +2. I think you should just check the inventory how much you get per tree and test consistently to be sure there is no bug.
