OzHawkeye
Yes, there's been a few funny pictures similar to this posted. No doubt it'll be worked on before A17 goes to Stable.

Bubbahotetp
I guess we can deduce from that that roads get created after water. Was my comment useful somehow? Nah.
Scyris
I actually think this looks cool from a looks thing, but for realism it kinda kills it lol. However, the reason water physics are like this is thanks to the wodnerful greifers that exist in online games. They would go around completly flooding players bases in pve servers, so the physics were changed so the water no longer flows like it did in a15. Thank the greifers for yet again ruining another part of another game.

LuckyStar
Good place for a base? - P Interesting!!! Hey I think you might have something there!! Even if it failed miserably it would make an interesting video. Let's see if the new patch fixes it or not.

Like not being able to carry a significant amount of water to cause a flood etc If you build somewhere near or below a water source, you need to take that into consideration of your base! Go underwater and make a 4 tall & 3x3 stack of frames. Before you finish putting the last frame on top, remove the frames from center. Jump in. replace a frame above you head. Wahlah!!! Underwater breathing space. EDIT: So water does have some kind of physics. The Scientific term for it is "Wonky Physics".

Well back then all it took was 1 bucket of water, and time to flood anything. Pour bucket of water on top of a nerd pole of wood frames, and it'd split into 4, rinse and repeat using mutiple nerd poles. Bascally you could dupe the water this way, and use it to flood things, it took time, but greifers will spend hours just to make someones day crap.
