Anyone knowedgeable about starvation mod?

I am enjoying the starvation mod more and more, but I am more and more frustrated, how often items exist, are craftable and check boxes for required skills as well, but there is absolutely no indication, where or how to craft them.

 

Currently, I try to find out, how the heck to craft a PSG-1 Barrel.

Haven't played starvation mod in a long time but the NPCs can craft the weapons parts. Don't remember if its the mechanic or the smith that does that. In addition, I don't think you can craft weapons parts in starvation mod but in order to put weapons together you need the weapons workbench - forget the exact name.

 

Better to find the parts yourself or go to a trader and try to buy the part or the complete gun. When I played starvation mod in A16.4 I had several 4 or 5 storage boxes of gun parts so there shouldn't be an issue finding them, especially after horde nights.

Thanks. Found out there is a k98 in the game and it reuires a PSG-1 barrel and otherwise hunting rifle parts. gave up on finding out how to craft it, and tried to find the piece. found a full high level k98 instead....lol XD
