Map reset

Hi,

 

I was wondering if the map and our stuff in the game will be reset for every update in Alpha 17, or is it safe to update the game without losing anything?

Well, that entirely depends on what gets changed.

 

Like from b199 to b208, I had to wipe and rebuild my RWG map, but there were no apparent issues with my Navezgane map.

 

However, changes to progression would require a complete character wipe.

 

SO basically with each update, there is probably about a 60% chance you'll be fine continuing. Be aware though, that playing older saves negates your ability to post helpful bug reports, and reporting bugs is the primary reason for playing the experimental version.

 

In general though, the safest choice is to wipe each build.
