Yoghira
Hello Moderators and Forum developers, when i try to find a specific keyword in "posts" i get on the search result page(s) only the post containing Threads with often more than one pages. And thats often to time consuming to read the whole thread to find that post which contain that keyword i searched for. Example: " Developer Discussions: Alpha 17" this has over 2000 pages. Suggestions: General search: Give the oportunity to search in sub forums for example "News & Announcements" The search result page should lists the posts not the threads if you checkboxed "search in posts" like the "Search Thread" function does. Royal Deluxe
Google can do this, try "site:7daystodie.com WhatEverTermYouSearch" in google as example http://lmgtfy.com/?q=site%3A7daystodie.com+B208
SylenThunder
Yep, that's exactly what I do. Except I always put the "site:7daystodie.com" at the end of the search instead of the beginning. The VBulliten search sucks balls. There is no "right way" to use it.
Yoghira
OK the solution is - use google. You both are right and i use the site: thing and sometimes even filetype: command too but it somehow never comes to my mind to to that with this Forum . Thank you both.
