Reducing death debuff duration by killing zombies

I'm not a big fan of the current debuff that makes you temporarily lose some skills on death. I also understand that TFP wants a bigger penalty than they had in A16.

 

So how about this: you can either let the debuff run its course - full thirty minutes - or you can kill a few zombies, let's say ten or so on nomad difficulty, with each kill reducing the duration of the debuff by three minutes. Numbers can be tweaked.

 

Think community service instead of incarceration. If you are willing to work for it, your punishment goes away faster.
