Agarthan Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 I don't want to make this thread a wishlist, there is a serious problem with this forum and people writing wishlists right now so while I could add other things I want like more weapons/ores etc I'm going to stick with this idea. There should be graphic body damage done to zombies when you attack them. From bashing their skulls in to blowing off limbs or blowing zombies in half, you should be able to do graphic damage to the zombie entities. But it was already announced that with mocap there will be more hitboxes and stuff like removing arms and legs of zombies will be possible. I think there will also be different death animations depending on the way you kill zeds. If wood spikes applied a movement debuff they would have a noticeable effect even if they didn't kill zombies. It wouldn't be a lot of fun, though, if there was no way to kill a zombie with static defenses. Zombies would lay waste to everything while you are offline if activated by another player who doesn't care to defend your fortress... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For example the zombies legs once they have sustained enough damage to be destroyed the the zombie falls to a crawler which then has arms vulnerable. Once the arms are damaged beyond use the head has no choice but to fall into said defenses. If nothing else new defenses to do more than slow them down maybe in order or traps which cause head trauma. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
