A17 - Perk Management

I got to level 5 and I am playing on Insane mode and I have to tell you I have a new found interest in food and scavenging and tools and traders with forges.

 

I was level 4 when I realized I was having major food issues even outside a town and near a trader at that point I realized I needed a Chef Perk to get cooking or die.

 

So I wanted to know what you all have been doing with your perk from level 1 to 10.

I think 1 point in chef is almost a must prior to the end of day 1.. Also 50% head shot damage in both strength and agility made things a lot easier. Really there isn't a lot of reason to go anything else early on as the nerd glasses are easily found giving 2 points to int so your crafting is level 2. Z's were pretty easy after that except at night. Normal zombie was 1 archer shot, kd melee and 1 to finish it off on the ground. I had no problem taking down a wondering horde of 10+ on day 2. Vultures also dropped on 1 power hit and were easy to time.
