Zombie proximity noise to the player

It is LOADS better than it used to be. In previous builds you have a zombie sounding like it was breathing in your ear ready to eat you and you'd turn around and the zombie was literally 100' away.

 

A few more tweaks and it will be MUCH better. I am a sound design guy and once 7D2D is out of Beta, I plan on releasing a mod with lots more zombie sounds variation. Currently there are only a dozen or so and it begins to get weird on horde night because you can't identify them properly.

Will the ambient noise of the zombies be fixed in alpha 17?

 

In the current 16.4 build I can be underground at the bedrock level and it sounds like the zombies are literally right above me, I have my fingers and toes crossed that this will be fixed.

 

OMG, yes FP please fix the sound! It is horrible still. Anyways, thanks for all the good stuff.

Unity does, so 7days likely uses it.

 

Okay so it's there.... just needs some tweaking.

 

Well now.... that's encouraging.

 

I don't mind TFP wait awhile to fiz the sounds. They have some big stuff to do first.

Nice to know, however, that the capabilities to make this game sound great are there at least.

 

[besides, I'll have my hearing aids by then and I'll be able to actually enjoy it.]
