Punchobunz
Did the error occur with a base built on top of the ground? Been thinking about all my past MD5's and they were all with buildings I built on ground level...I recently noticed my current base will have original hillside covering the front door after every crash but it goes back to normal when I walk through it (most of the base goes deeper underground) then I realized I've never had an MD5 error with a base thats been tunneled under it...was wondering if anyone has experienced the same
Muggs
I have had MD5s take underground tunnels.I once had a large tunnel with steps leading to an underground bedroom, had a MD5 tunnel and steps were gone. When I dug back down the bedroom was still their untouched. Their is no rhythm to the MD5s,they reset what could not be saved proper, whatever that may be. The majority of my MD5s are 16 to 32 blocks big and most seem to involve the forge. The largest one was a checkerboard of 32 blocks that hit what was probably the whole world. Three different bases very far apart all had some kind of wipe damage. One was completely gone. I always put my forge away from everything else, and I don't plant trees. When they all reach full grown I always start getting MD5s on that map. Everything I write is about the XBox1 version. The wife and I still occasionally play a map that has been hit by Five MD5s. We started with 3 bases one was the trailer park. We re-did the trailer park. All lights work,no cars, trash or weeds. It looks amazing. The MD5s took the other two bases and the other three we built but we still have the trailer base. I' m going to miss it when the tornados come. Jugginator
Honestly before I just stopped playing it completely on the consoles, it happened with an above-ground base, below ground base, no base, it just happens no matter what lol. Taken over a prefab house and crashes. Hell, I had a MD5 crash before day 7 and my friend and I didn't even take over a house, we just put a bunch of spikes down around a tree and placed a chest on the tree for storage. Game crashed at day 6, and most of the spikes were gone along with the storage chests. Both PS4 and Xbox.
Tlasan
Md5 happens anywhere. I myself had severe issues with falling water and wooden signs.
