FOG Worsens on Splitscreen

Good afternoon,

I have a bug that I think needs to be fixed. When playing on multi-player split-screen the fog get really bad. I have adjusted the gamma but the fog get thick that you can not see anything. Then when it rains it will rain for at least 4 days in between the 7 day hordes. When the second player pops out and it goes back to single player it is clear as a bell. Is there something I am missing or is this something that can not be fixed?

Hi Beason128,

Thank you for reporting this, can you confirm for me if you have distant terrain turned on or off when in single player? If you change this setting, load single player, then have player 2 join, does this change anything?

Please let me know what console you're playing on, and if possible footage of this occurring would be really useful to the team who are currently investigating this.

Thank you,

Clare

I have done this with the distant terrain off on single player. Then when it happened with my son I researched this and then started messing with the gamma settings and the distant terrain. I am playing on the XBOX One. I have been researching all the bugs when they happen to me and trying different tips that others have posted but this is one that seems to need more specialized eyes on it. If I can capture some footage next time I play and see if I can get what you need. Thank you for the response.

Hi beason128,

Thank you for clarifying that info for me. I will keep an eye out for any footage you send my way, I can pass this onto the team member looking into this and they can get a better idea of what you're describing and what they are looking for in their own testing.
