Issue with**PS4**game save data

I had a massive issue today with my 7 dayd to die game while trying to save my game data to my online storage it deleted it and i lost a huge chunk of my game save data has anyone ever had this issue before with ps4??

I am sorry to hear you have lost our game save data, please elaborate on the steps you took when saving the data.

 

Were you overwriting previously saved data?

Have you recently updated your Console / Game?

Was the game still running in the background while you did this?

Please also confirm did you lose a single save file or multiple? or is it a fragment of the save that is missing?
