Cool Things The Devs Should Add

Let me know if you guys are on the same page as me here. Things they should add are: -Live Stock/pastures, example would be chickens, pigs, sheep, etc. Good source of food, eggs, mutton, wool and more!; -Having to layer your clothing to survive in cold climates. I know they're planning on adding various temperatures to the game to add to the difficulty. In real life layering your clothing helps you survive in cold climate. If you sweat in sub zero temperatures you can possibly die later on from hypothermia. -Realistic hunting, shooting a deer in the heart with a 7.62 round should drop him right away or soon after. Having to shoot a deer 3-4 times with that high caliber of a round would definitely spoil the meat in real life. Not to mention shooting a rabbit with a caliber like that would absolutely annihilate the rabbit. -Also having the option of realistic topography would not only educate people on how to use a map and compass but would also give the game a realistic feel. Using your surroundings to triangulate your position and find out where you are would be pretty cool in my books, considering on games like DayZ you don't even get a map. Or eventually finding a GPS in game to find your location, with battery power of course, that being said finding/crafting batteries would be important. -Eventually they're planning on adding vehicles is what I hear so I won't get into the fact that it takes you an entire day to travel 2Km, even a really fat person can travel more than that in less time. -RCon for in game access to administrative privileges. I'm currently using 7 Days to Die Server Manager by FrontRunnerTek, it's the best server manager out there ATM. However, it's pretty safe to say that nearly every game out there uses an RCon based admin. -Tactical Vest/slings to hold weapons and ammo, instead of holding it in your backpack you could hold ammo/pistols in your vest; -Having to Pee/Poo would actually make the game a bit more challenging I think ; -Adjusting the noises in game, example would be when you drink water/eating and someone hears you from across the map it makes it a little unrealistic. -More gardening options example, various vegetables and fruits These are just a few things I can think of that would make a survival game a lot more fun to survive in. I just want to let the devs know that I appreciate the fact that the've fixed a lot of the Game Breaking glitches/issues. Good job guys keep up the great work!

-Livestock and stuff: they will most likely give players the ability to breed animals. What I'd like to see is more animals, esp. Bears and Cougars, atm the mutant hornets and zombie dogs are the only hostile ones, the rest is just docile animals. -Clothing and climates: good point. but it'll most likely be included, if not in form of a temperature meter, you'll get a notification like "You are freezing" and "You put on some warm clothes". I'd like that over a new meter, since although you can turn the hud off, you will lose all hud elements at once - map, crosshair, inventory, etc., that just aside. Basically agree from here on, but the -Poo/Pee stuff freaks me out. I don't wanna spend hours finding toilet paper coz the zombies chase my sh*tty butt all over the place just coz I randomly sh*t my pants for no reason. Plus theres a line between "appropriate" and "utterly disgusting", for me it's the latter. That'd be turning the game into like a dirty joke and I'd stop playing it coz of just that - it'd be more bothersome than challenging imho. Challenging would be givin' dem zeds jetpacks and RPG7's, that'll teach the players. I'll build a bedrock castle then, "-1 block hardness iz hard". Jokes aside, I think they are working and planning on most of this ;)

I like these. After I built my first "castle" the first thing I thought was I wish I had some scorpions or catapults to mount on my towers. Then I looked at all the barrels of gas i had for traps and thought, a flame thrower mounted in the murder hole above my gate would be fun. Salvage rubber from cars, combine with gas and presto. Think of a swarm of zombies coming at you and having a scorpion bolt pin three of them to the ground or a 50lb rock crushing into the swarm. So I imagine my fortress bristling with engines of war and wish I could man my bastion with NPC's. The map as it stands now is rather empty. Maybe a survivalist enclave to trade, recruit or defend yourself from. Lone NPC's that could be found or rescued and armed to keep the zombies off my doorstep when I'm away. Also it would be nice to collect all the car batteries and turn them into a battery bank to run mechanical things or traps. Generators salvaged from sites and such. salvaged lighting from homes and street lamps to create flood lights. Domesticated animals that have gone feral and can be captured and tamed. Horses would be nice. Craftable shields and one handed weapons like swords or axes. Ammo is a bit to plentiful and should be horded. Body armor from zombie soldiers would be nice for pvp. A weight system. The more you carry the slower you go. Kinda a combination of minecraft meets mad max meets mount and blade meets skyrim As far as a pipe dream goes..I think this qualifies.

Some good ideas, but I agree with the others about the pooing/peeing - and anything else that might be "realistic" but kills gameplay. You know, there's lots more you have to do in real life that would be a pain/boring/annoying to have in a video game. Such as... washing your dishes, washing your hands, bathing, cutting your hair/beard/fingernails, sleeping, stirring the food when cooking, etc... etc... :) It's important to realize that "realism" doesn't necessarily make good gameplay. In fact, many times it ruins it. In a game like this, things shouldnt be magical or completely out of place either (obviously), but too much realism and I'd rather go out into the woods and do things "really realistic". :)

I had some good ideas for traps like electric fences, and bear traps you have to reset everytime an animal or a zombie or you steps in it. I also had ideas for more explosives like explosive tipped crossbows, and I also had an idea to create thermite (which burns up to 2500*C) to melt metal instantly. I thought of different food types like apples to make apple juice and apple pie, watermelons to make watermelon juice, and cocoa beans to make chocolate bars, chocolate cake, and hot chocolate for cold winter nights (if they make temperature). If you want to see more ideas just go to my profile. "Ideas" is in my name afterall. :P

All these ideas would add a lot of enjoyment to an already awesome game. I would like them to expanded the scent buff so that the player does have to worry a bit about hygiene. And at the same time we can start using bait scents to lure zombies into or away from areas.
