Zombie weather system, special hordes, Wasps

Instead of every 7th day for zombie attacks, what if it was something less predictable? What if the "hordes" of zombies were treated like a weather system, where there are rainy days, cloudy days, clear ones. There are times when it rains for a few days straight. Sometimes you're out on a picnic when you get caught in the rain. Now instead of rain think of that like zombie attacks. Now there can be quieter and busier days, but also think that a special horde could move in that would harass your base for a period of time. (Think like old people zombies from an old folks home, theme dressed zombies from a restaurant, carnival, construction site, etc). Maybe wasps are not that deadly on their own, but what if they attack in a swarm? What if every one of their attacks only slows you by a little bit, but the effects stack? They don't even have to do that much damage, but if you get stung too many times you're going to be paralyzed. What a horrible way to go! Another thing about wasps, is that in nature they are the bad guys who plant their young inside other creatures. They have special bores that can dig through wood to pierce a target. I think underground would not be a very safe place from a wasp. You know what else wasps do? They can dig, they dig tunnels and dig their homes underground too. Wouldn't that be something if you dug right into an underground wasp nest? Or if they dug down to you? [attachment=5604:name]

Anyway, these aren't even wasps, they are hornets. Wasps or hornets wouldn't be able to dig through stone to get to you.

And, a zombie wouldn't be able to punch through stone but they do. I don't know why you even try to use (faulty) logic against a game mechanic. A game about zombies..... and giant wasps........
