Laz Man
I think he is running steam within an undesirable environment and thus wasted 1.5 hour downloading and installing, thus the facepalm.

Royal Deluxe
The weirdest part of all this: His arms are way too short. No no, works with a trackball, but mouses are evil ! Ohh you mean the facepalm... thats stays my secret ^^ And yes, start Steam in sandbox = Game installs IN sandbox = No game after sandbox is gone btw https://www.sandboxie.com/ And no panic i come back After i experienced the Chaos and Player unfriendly parts of http://store.steampowered.com/app/383120/Empyrion__Galactic_Survival/ i looked into the fresh since February EA game (With really huge potential and nice beginnings) http://store.steampowered.com/app/773951/Freeman_Guerrilla_Warfare/ and now i play the Most expensive tutorial i ever buyed http://store.steampowered.com/app/465490/Stellar_Tactics/ ok its a bit more than a tutorial, you can solve a random quest in a random generated Dungeon so often you wish. But instead of the Promised 10 000 Star systems (The game generates each gamestart) you can Visit..... ONE

Fox
I didn't even know Steam had a sandbox mode.
Royal Deluxe
Its a own prgramm https://www.sandboxie.com/ (Free version has all needed feautures) If you start steam in Sandboxie all programms steam opens will start in the same sandbox. I use this for different things * Login with different accounts at steam at the same time. (Sometimes i discuss in forum during i play with a other account) * Using (singleplayer) Trainer or other prgramms i dont trust * Use my browser in sandbox to surf on Grey sides of the internet that try to infect you with malware * Use a programm that i want not to edit my system ... Btw. it dont work with eac. Means you cant play on eac server from inside a sandbox.
Fox
So like, a virtual OS? Requires less than 6mb of hard drive space with simple installation Woah, wait a minute, nvm... What the hell is this thing and why have I not heard of it before? We're not judging, but if you're going to do it, at least use protection. lmao... this sounds so familiar. Royal Deluxe
So like, a virtual OS? Kind of, so far i understand it. Sandboxy only make a kind of wall/Duplication of drivers and OS stuff. And Programms inside can only interact with this copy. Its NOT a really a Virtual machine so far i understand it. But i am new to sandboxy too, got it now since 2 Month or so
