Xbox crashes more since last update

After last update xbox online games crashing even quicker. Playing alone online world before update crashes would occur every 4 hrs or so unless another player was playing with you then it was 2.5 hrs.

Since most recent update now on single player online world crashes are happening almost every 2hrs instead of 4.

Only difference is when i set the 24 period. 60 min 2 hr crash on the dot. 50 1hr 45 min. 40 1hr 30 for crash.

On RWG air drops every 72 loot respawn 15 days loot 75 playing as mad mole. 18 hr days. All else default.

Only difference i see is changing 24 times to longer periods the longer you can play. Seems like its always 2 game days exactly when the crash occurs.

Please figure this out i really wanna stream this game. I have provided tons of info before on this crash but i think this might be the best info thus far as before i never changd the 24 hr times

Hi Gelobledo,

Thank you for reporting this. Exactly on the two game day period is interesting. I shall make a point to ask those who report the issue what their day length is set to. Are these saves from previous patches, or did you create new ones when the last patch was released?

When you say single player online, do you mean a multiplayer game, but only you are playing in, or a single player game without a splitscreen player. If the later, does the crashing time change if you play offline?

Thank you again, I will pass this onto the team too to see if they've noticed anything similar in tests,

Clare

I am going to uninstall and clear cache try that. Last update doesnt need new world created right it was just a patch?

When i say single online its my online world but im playing alone

Ok so uninstalled game unplugged console to reset cache. Plugged in and reinstalled game. Streamed with 24 hr settings to 60 min this time crashed 1 hr 57 min. So it didnt change nothing. I wish there was a 90 min setting.

Hi gelobledo,

Thank you for checking and updating your post. You are correct the last patch did not require a fest save to see the effects of fixes. 90 mins is a common request from players so hopefully the team will add the option in. I'm curious to see if the team can set the time to that point and how the crashes would react...

Thank you again for your update and information on the issue,

Clare

I started a new game with RWG and all same settings on a single player offline game. Was able to stream it for 3 hrs before i stopped. No crashes. Did notice that gore blocks on new game only would show first level then when broke down would not go to skull and bone level. Also noticed some poi that i havent found in old game. Is it possible any changes could be effecting old saves? I will try to start another fresh online world and see what happens. Also to duplicate crashes you have to play online map on an Xbox

The thing with the gore blocks is a new thing - if empty, the gore block vanishes. if you try to destroy one that has items, it will go to the skull and bones.

Hi gelobledo,

I don't believe older games should have been effected that way. As Ignoringmywife1 mentioned, age of the save may effect the frequency of the crashes because of the amount of alteration or amount of the map uncovered etc. If you're seeing some new POIs, your save is from a much earlier patch, which it should not have effected the save, I would be interested to hear if the new world you create behaves any differently.

Thanks Damselx1 for clarifying the bodies breaking down.

Mods generally don't remove posts unless there is a good reason, it could be further back in the history. If you go to your profile and select view latest started threads it should give you your thread history and you should be able to find your post there.
