I have been building Riften from Skyrim in 7 Days to Die and may look to prefab it once completed. Is it possible to prefab the entire city or would you have to do it in sections. StompyNZ Posted December 5, 2017 Share Posted December 5, 2017 the answer is essentially: How much ram do you have? There's no hard limit. The only issue you will hit is loaded chunks, but there are ways around that with spawning chunk observers etc (I've done 1024x1024 prefab without issues) To spawn in rwg naturally however you will probably want to limit to about 200 blocks across. Is there a limit a prefab is allowed to have in size if you want it to be spawned automatically in random gen towns / cities ? If i remember correctly there was a limit of 45x45 once, but i think that was due to the more "chess-board"-like build of towns in earlier versions ?! So, is there still any limit in place ? So, is there still any limit in place ? no hard limit, but the bigger you go the less chance it will have a space to spawn Each socket is 21x21 so for a 42x42 you would need 4 sockets in a square etc. Sockets need flat land to connect a bunch together, and a single bump in the middle ruins it all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
