Ravenhearst Mod

hi Guys

I want to be on the safe side and do not do anything wrong.

my question is how do I do an update to the current version on my server with Ravenhearst like now is 2.11.05

which files do I have to reload on the server.

Thank you so much for your help, and sorry for the not perfect English

My suggestion is to get GitHub Desktop and mirror Jax's repo on your local PC. It will only update what he's updated, and has logs that show what was updated between versions. Makes it easy to know what files have been changed and which have not. You can easily then just copy the changed files or folders to your server. I also zip small patches for the players on my server so they can update. Right now I have a zip that will update 2.11 or newer to 2.11.05.

Since 2.11's initial release, I think the changes are all in:

/Data/Config/

/Mods/Ravenhearst/

FullPatchNotes.txt

So if you update those folders/files you should be up to date.

Same here. Was cooking some soups and when I leveled from cooking 1 to 2, I was at Level 59 and jumped to level 96 and my points went from (46 - low 50s) to 886.

Now I have to keep track of my levels and points to keep my self on track of where I would be... :(

Do you know of a command or adjustment to set level and skill points?

First page post says current version is 2.08. I guess this is just an editing mistake?

Since the Modinfo.xml of the downloads are saying 2.11.3 and thats supposed to be 2.11.5 really (according to a poster here) it's a bit confusing now if someone tries to update manually. Still, If you don't check and just install -> no confusion -> no problem, I should do that more often ;-)

On second thought, the bug with cooking-leveling seems to be brand new. Maybe I'll stay on 2.08 for the moment.

Great mod by the way.

how to install mods under ubuntu?

Clone this repository with git - https://github.com/JaxTeller718/MainVersion/ then move all files into game directory

cd /tmp
git clone https://github.com/JaxTeller718/MainVersion/ ravenhearst
cd /tmp/ravenhearst
mv $(ls -A) "$HOME/Steam/SteamApps/common/7 Days To Die/"

This will install mode into your main game.

You will have to turn down graphics, textures, LOD, etc to play this mod. And even then it will crash when you go into big cities.

I've got 100 hours into this mod now, haven't had a crash - is your crash comment referring to Ubuntu? I am running Windows 10 on 7700k with GTX 980 and 32 Gb RAM.

I know, right? The five, no wait, four, pvp'ers need a server too! ;-)

(Begin the pvp vs pve wars have...)

/don't kill me in discord! :)

Har har, Merry Christmas to you too gup lol. I thought jax would have a field day with this but hes too busy i guess:smile-new:

- - - Updated - - -

maybe that is why they need the pvp server...to kill you ingame....which by how much you just die on your own is way too redundant :D

You dont need to play on a pvp server gam, from what ive heard:playful:

That is sad but so true. Sorry people I have accidentally killed...my new years resolution is to have less friendly fire kills added to my list.

I say less because I know zero will be impossible.

It's referred to Linux in general. The version of Unity3d engine that 7D2D uses has a hard 16GB cap for Linux platform. As soon as it's reached game exits with a log message about virtual address exceeding 16GB.

Vanilla or mods without as much extra content work "fine". Game seems to have a memory leak or doesn't efficiently clear no longer used entities. With time it's using more and more memory. This applies to all platforms.
