That shows just how much TFP really give a "turd" by shutting people down. You guys just got put on the no buy list here. I dont even like the direction the PC version went anyway. Are any of these violations of the forum rules? If so, follow protocol and deal with the individual(s) breaking the rules, not the thread. I believe you have overstepped here, Roland, and have closed what many people consider their lifeline to an all-but-dead game. From my point of view, Roland, you are doing a grave disservice to yourself, the Fun Pimps, and all of the consumers who paid for this game (and thereby this forum) who rely on expressing their hopes, or, yes, even venting their frustrations, in a reasonable and responsible manner. If the thread in question was a feedback thread designed for the developer to get ideas and thoughts from the community to help make a decision then absolutely it should have remained open. But the issue that is at the root of all the discussion is not up for committee consensus and nobody at TFP is polling any of you to find out what the next step is. Therefore the sniping and accusing and the defending and the "how about now?" posts just become noise and clutter from any actual announcement that may come in the future. You can discuss your feelings in general discussions as long as it doesn't break forum rules. So nice try with the censorship sob story. You are welcome to voice your concerns and hopes and speculations in the appropriate place and hopefully in an appropriate manner. Just look a few posts above where someone came to THIS thread because they saw it bolded and they thought there might be some actual info but no, it was just more noise. There is no silencing going on. Talk about it in a new thread in general discussions but the ongoing spite against TFP based purely on idle speculation and without any facts in an official announcement thread isn't going to happen. Not only did I not overstep-- I should have locked the thread immediately after the official announcement a long long time ago. And despite LuckyStrike's little pre-emptive attempt at daring me to close this thread I'll just say that I have no problem with closing it as well because all of THIS talk about how to moderate the forum is off topic for this thread anyway. So closed as well. (Looks like Clare even intended to close it a year ago but must have forgotten) For further discussion about about the future possibilities please go to General Discussions. Hopefully the next time any of you see the Announcements forum with a bolded newly updated thread it will actually be official information instead of the 30th iteration of "Any new update?" by Joe Forum User.
